The Story of Karyna Yevsieieva: From a Little Girl to a Successful Makeup Artist

Karyna Yevsieieva is a talented makeup artist, educator, and entrepreneur. She was born in the small town of Yenakiieve, Ukraine. When Karyna was only eight years old, her family moved to the large city of Kharkiv, where she grew up surrounded by business. Her mother was a successful businesswoman managing a passenger and freight transportation company. From an early age, Karyna's mother prepared her to continue the family business, but Karyna had different dreams.

The First Steps Toward a Dream

Karyna was always a creative person. She loved to draw and always dreamed of a life filled with creativity. However, her mother insisted that Karyna should pursue a career in business. In 2015, Karyna graduated with a degree in business and finance.
Already in her second year of university, Karyna asked her mother for financial support to take her first makeup courses. Karyna always knew she could succeed in this field. However, her mother did not support this initiative, considering makeup a frivolous hobby and a waste of time and money.

The Fateful Leadership Seminar

A turning point in Karyna's life occurred at a leadership seminar she was fortunate enough to attend. It was there that she made the final decision to start a career as a makeup artist. This decision came to her under very unusual circumstances.

Karyna was one of twenty promising participants in the seminar. They were given a task: to enter a room lined with partitions. The task seemed simple yet challenging: to stay within the partition for exactly two hours in silence, without talking or using phones. To Karyna, this seemed boring and torturous.

However, on the floor were sheets of paper with various proverbs and parables. One story struck Karyna deeply and fundamentally changed her worldview. It was the story of the little elephant.

A Life-Changing Story

The story of the little elephant goes like this: Once, a herder found a baby elephant, took it away from its family, and brought it to his ranch. He tied it with a rope and staked it to the ground. The elephant tried to escape, but the stake held it firmly.

As time passed, the elephant grew. When it became a large and powerful elephant, it still remained tied to the same stake, believing it couldn't escape, even though it could now easily pull the stake out and be free and happy.

The essence of this story is that our beliefs hold us back. Someone once told us, "You can't do it," "You won't succeed," "It's too early for you," "It's too expensive for you," "It's not a serious profession."

At the seminar, participants were asked to write down their own "stakes" - beliefs that prevented them from achieving their goals and dreams.
Karyna wrote: financial and moral dependence on her mother.

The Beginning of a New Life

After the seminar, Karyna returned home as a changed person. She realized that she was now a "big elephant." She approached her mother and declared, "I want to be a makeup artist and I will be one of the best! I will achieve great success, and you will be prouder of me than ever before! Let me follow my own path."

From that moment, the career of a young and successful girl began. At the age of 19, Karyna Yevsieieva started her journey in the world of makeup and reached incredible heights, becoming one of the most respected and sought-after makeup artists and educators.
